OF MEETING HELD ON MARCH 27, 2006, BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION STAFF AND THE CONSTELLATION ENERGY GROUP INC. REPRESENTATIVES TO DISCUSS THE STATUS OF OPEN ITEM 3.0.3.2.17-1 FOR THE NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION (TAC NOS. MC3272 AND MC3273)

A public meeting was held on March 27, 2006, at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Headquarters for representatives of Constellation Energy Group Inc., to discuss the status of Open Item 3.0.3.2.17-1 that has been identified in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Safety Evaluation Report with Open Items issued dated March 3, 2006. Open Item 3.0.3.2.17-1 is related to the corrosion that was discovered by the applicant, during its refueling outage in 2003, on the Nine Mile Point (NMP), Unit 1, drywell liner plate. The discussed information also includes the condition of both interior and exterior surfaces of the NMP, Unit 1 drywell.
