Sorensen Manager, Regulatory Programs Gentlemen: Subject: Material Control and Accounting Safeguards Inspection This letter refers to the routine material control and accounting safeguards inspection of your activities at WNP-2 authorized under NRC licensee NPF-21 conducted by Mr. G. B. Nelson of this office on June 9 through 13 and 19, 1986.
It also refer to the discussion of the inspection findings with Mr. J.
D. Martin and members of the WNP-2 staff on June 13, 1986.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and records, interviews with facility personnel and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were observed.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of the findings of your control and accounting procedures for safeguarding special nuclear material are exempt from public disclosure; therefore, the enclosed inspection report will not be placed in the public document room.
