on October 13-14, 1981 (Report No. 50-387/81-21)

Areas Inspected:

Included a review of the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station Physical Security Plan for the Protection of SNM of Low Strategic Significance; Special Nuclear Material (SNM) license; Fuel Offloading and Storage Areas; Access Control; Storage Area Lighting; Security Force Training; Environmental Protection; Verification of Records; and Inspection of Shipping Containers.

The inspection involved 16 inspector hours onsite by a region based inspector and an NRC Headquarters (NMSS) intern.

Four of these inspection hours were accomplished during effshift periods.

Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC license requirements in all of the areas inspected.
