SUBJECT: REPORT NOS. 50-369/95-22 AND 50-370/85-23 Thank you for your response of August 30, 1985, to our Notice of Violation issued on August 2,1985, concerning activities conducted at your McGuire facility. We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201. We will examine the implementation of your corrective actions during future inspection In your response to Violation 1, you stated that your revised dose calculations, as described in your Licensee Event Report (LER) 369/85-21-01, indicated no overexposure occurred. You stated in the LER the individual's exposure was most likely in the range of 1.06 rem to 5.3 rem and that the 10.6 rem exposure value could only be obtained by assuming worst case parameters in the calculation After careful consideration of the bases for your position, we have concluded that there is insufficient justification available for assigning less than the calculated skin dose of 10.6 rem over a 1 cm area which is in excess of the 10 CFR 20.101(a) limits. Therefore, you should ensure that the individual's radiation dose records, maintained by you pursuant to 10 CFR 20.401(a), reflect the 10.6 rem skin dose for the calendar quarter beginning April 1,198 We appreciate your cooperation in this matte
