McGuire, Chief, Physical Security Section 05te Signed Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards Branch Division of Radiation Safety and Safeguards SUMMARY Scope: This special announced inspection entailed 8 inspector-hours on site reviewing the circumstances of a licensee reported physical security event and verifying the implementation of interim corrective measures.
Results: Two violations of regulatory requirements were identified:
1.
A degradation associate with vital area barriers.
2.
A degradation discovered in the protected area physical barrier.
