Investigation Section, Safeguards Branch Inspection Summary Areas Inspected: Included review of the security program audit, security organi-zation, protected / vital area physical barriers, lighting, access controls (iden-tification, authorization and badging; search; and vital areas), alarm stations, detection aids, power supply, and response.

The inspect. ion involved 37 inspector hours on site by one NRC inspector. The inspection was begun during an offshift period; 10 inspection hours were accomp-lished during offshift periods.

Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined during this inspection except for the following two items:

Detection Aids - Tamper indicating capability could not be demonstrated for the entire alarm system (Infraction, 80-29-01).

Response - Required security emergency drills were not conducted (Infraction, l
