After discussions concerning the different termination methods, the licensee agreed to review and determine which is/are the acceptable termination metho Additionally, it was observed that the "Reliance" motors on all twelve of the above listed valve operators have Class B motor insulatio Generally, Class H motor insulation is used inside primary containmen The licensee agreed to review and assure that the Class B motor insulation is environmentally acceptable for this specific applicatio These questions concerning the valve operators are identified as Unresolved Item 280/80-14-01 and 281/80-15-01, Auxiliary Feedwater MOV terminations and motor insulatio ~- **---*--*-

-4-Examination of auxiliary feedwater valve operator number MOV-FW-lSlD revealed that two weld repairs have been made on the operator housin These two weld repair areas are located on the gear housing near the flange surface which mates with the hand-wheel portions of the assembl The inspector questioned whether these weld repairs degraded the environmental integrity of the valve operato The licensee was not certain of what checks/tests had been performed after the weld reapirs and agreed to review the work-package documentation to assure environemntal acceptabilit This item is identified as Unresolved Item 280/80-14-02, Weld repair of Auxiliary Feedwater MOV number MOV-FW-151 Within the areas examined, there were no items of noncompliance or deviation identified.
