SUMMARY Scope:
This routine, unannounced inspection was conducted in the area of the licensee's Physical Security for Power Reactors, specifically Testing and Maintenance, Power Supply and Vital Area Barriers and Alarms.
Prior items were also reviewed for corrective actions.
Results:
In the areas inspected, violations or deviations were not identified.
p Two Inspector Followup Items (IFIs) 92-04-03 and 92-15-02,~ and'one non-cited-violation (NCV) were. closed. An-Unresolved Item (URI) (92-29-01) was opened regarding the licensees resolution of a technical issue relative:to the alarm system operating capabilities in environmental extremes.
The licensee's testing and maintenance program is acceptable; power supplies are adequate and vital area barriers and alarms are in-compliance with requirements in the Physical Security Plan.
