Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attention: Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 Haddam Neck Plant Proposed Defueled Physical Security Plan Response To NRC Comments The purpose of this letter is for the Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPCO) to provide the response to NRC comments on the Haddam Neck Plant (HNP) proposed Defueled Physical Security Plan.
CYAPCO submitted, to the NRC, the proposed Defueled Physical Security Plan on June 19,1997.W in a letter dated March 19,1998,(2) the NRC provided comments on CYAPCO's submittal. In discussions between the NRC Staff and CYAPCO personnel on April 16,1998 and April 21,1998, CYAPCO presented it's approach to resolve these comments and proposed additional changes that differed from the original submittal.
The enclosed information, documents the results of those discussions and the resolution of NRC comments.
