InourOctober1,1976letterweindicated that'eplacement pagesto"ourPlantUniqueAnalysisfortheTorusSupportSystemwouldbeprovidedtoincorporate changesnecessitated byyourSeptember 14,1976letter.AttachedarerevisedFigures14;15andPages59and73.Page73hasbeencorrected toincorporate theproperreferences usedinthePlantUniqueAnalysis.Theeffectof'ariation onwaterlevelhasbeeninvestigated toensurethattheTorusSupportSystemandattachedpipingremainswithinthecriteriaoftheShortTermProgram..For a1.0psid,t'emaximumallowable downcomer submergence is4.0feet.Operation atadowncomer submergence of4.5feetcouldbetolerated ifthepressuredifferential wereincreased to1.5psig.Technical Specifications governing theabovewillbesubmitted byNovember5,1976pursuanttoyourSeptember 30,1976letter.Verification ofinputparameters hasbeencompleted.

TheDesignBasisBreakAreawascorrected to5.446squaref'eetandtheVentHeaderoutsidediameterwascorrected to58.5inches.Thesechangeshaveanegligible effectontheresultsoftheanalysis.
