Clinton Unit I Construction Schedule Update

Dear Mr. Denton:

The USNRC letter dated May 29, 1984 from H. R. Denton to-W._J. Kelley requested Illinois Power Company to provide a-quarterly update concerning the Clinton I construction schedule.

The critical path. schedule analysis shows that the limiting system schedulei Reactor Water Cleanup, is about 53 days behind. The critical path analysis is performed each month tc f.dentify problem areas sufficiently in advance so-that timely corrective actions can be taken. The target

! dates for Fuel Load and Commercial Operation remain at January 3 and November 1, 1986, respectively.
