Submittal of Tecnnical Specification Amendment Request for Normal Suppression Pool Temperature in reference (b), Vermont Yankee indicated that a proposed Technical Specification amendment request would be submitted by Dece *ber 19,1997 to modify the suppression pool normal operating temperature limit. We have found that cur internal preparation, review and approval of the proposed .
change is taking longer than originally anticipated and that in order to properly prepare the submittal, additional time will be necessary. Therefore, we now propose to submit the amendment request by January 19,1998.
