There are numerous aspects to consider, such as the unique location of the North Anna plant on a fault line. The earthquake that occurred in 2011 demonstrated the special vulnerability of the plant as it is currently constructed. What proof is there that the plant can withstand another earthquake? Since the North Anna region has significantly grown with development, what measures have been taken to protect the close-by communities and those within 50 miles of the plant? What evacuation plan is in place should there be a nuclear accident? The Nuclear Regulatory Commission must act to protect the public. Thank you.
