1 and 2 Document: NRC-2020-0234-DRAFT-0146 Comment on FR Doc # 2021-18255 Submitter Information Name: Donna Shaunesey Address:

Charlottesville, VA, 22903 Email: shaunesey@hotmail.com General Comment I live 37 miles from the North Anna Power Stations. If there were to be a catastrophic failure my family and I would face the consequences.

There ought to be a full Environmental Impact Statement that includes a study of the geologic risks (in light of the 2011 earthquake). In addition, there should be a new assessment of Severe Accident Alternatives since the last one was completed in 2001; as well as harvesting and testing of components of the reactors to determine if they can safely operate for eighty years. Furthermore, there should be a new assessment of the structural integrity of the Lake Anna dam, and an updated plan for the safe storage of the increasing radioactive waste stored at the power station.

Finally I request that there be a full public hearing on the license application that allows the public to speak as well as including independent expert testimony.

Our lives are at stake.
