to NEC inspection Report 50-516/87-01. In our response to Part a of violation 50-518/87-01-01, we,indlcated an approved procedure on prescelbing preventive maintenance requirenents would be completed by December 1, 1988.

l As a result of recent TVA organizational restructuring, this procedure has been rescheduled for completion by March 1, 1989. A listing of the comitment

contained in this letter is provided ln the enclosure.

This change was discussed between BLLI Little, NRC Reglon 11 and W. T. Watiers of my staff on November 16, 1988.
