-519, -520, -521, -553, -554 - HARTSVILLE AND PHIPPS BEND NUCLEAR PLANTS Our initial response to the subject bulletin, was submitted on September 12, 1980, followed by our second interim reponse on February 10, 1981.
This letter constitutes TVA's third interim response to the subject bulletin.
TVA is continuing to work with Westinghouse on resc.ution of the concern on W-2 switches. We have asked Westinghouse to keep us informed of the progress of the fatigue failure test program for the W-2 switches.
In addition, we have requested Westinghouse to keep us informed of their long-term resolution to the W-2 switch problem. GE is still in the process of collecting the requested information. TVA anticipates transmitting the final report on or before August 14, 1981.
