In response to your letter dated December 21, 1987, I hereby-certify under oath, that Memphis State University has~taken the necessary steps and precautions as requested by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in the planned disassembly and release of the AGN-201 reactor currently licensed by Memphis State University as indicated below: )

1.) After conversations with representatives of the Academy of ,

Institute for Resource Management (IRM), Dr. Bobby E. Leonard, R President of the Academy of IRM, has provided the attached I notarized document as evidence of'their understanding and acceptance of responsibility for the component parts of the AGN-201.

i 2.) I further certify as Vice President of Memphis State University that the reactor will be disassembled into i component parts, radiation levels will be taken and components  !
