CONVERSION OF LICENSE TO POSSESSI0ft OflLY STATUS The Puclear Regulatory Commission has issued Arendrent No. 5 to Fecility Operatino License No. R-127, which authorizes possession, but rot operation, of the nuclear reactnr located at Memphis State University in Memphis, Tennessee. This anended license is in response to your application dated March 15, 1985, reonesting conversion of your license to a possession-only status while plans are being developed for decennissionino and license termination. We have restated the license in its entirety, incorporating the changes necessary to reflect the possession-only status. The anendnent also includes the technical specification changes requested in your applica-tion.
Copies of Amendment No. 5 and the related Safety Evaluation are enclosed.
