Dr. Jerry Harbour SERVED JUL 101987 In the Matter of Docket Nos. 50-443-0L 50-444-0L PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY (ASLBPNo. 82-471-02-OL) 0F NEW HAMPSHIRE, et al. (Offsite Emergency Planning)

)

(Seabrook Station, Units 1 and 2) ) July 9,1987 NOTICE TO THE PARTIES On April 15, 1987 Seacoast Anti-Pollution League (SAPL) filed responses to Applicants' motions for summary disposition of SAPL Reasserted Contention 8 and 8A, SAPL-15, SAPL-18, SAPL-25, SAPL-34, and SAPL-37. Also included in this voluminous filing were the affidavits of Robert A. Backus (2), David Laughton, Albert E. Luloff, Dr. Thomas J. Adler, Ann Hutchinson, Nancy E. Hotchkiss, Dona R.

Janetos, and finally, the deposition of Donald J. Ziegler. SAPL's April 15th filing was not served on the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Panel (ASLBP). Since the Service List did not include the ASLBP, a copy of these documents was not deposited with the Panel's Docketing Staff. The absence of any party's pleadings from the Panel's Docket Room is of grave concern because the Panel's Docketing Staff is charged with responsibility of maintaining the records of the Safety and Licensing Board and the Appeal Board.

2 SAPL and the other parties to this proceeding have been previously apprised of the policy of including the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Panel i'tself, in addition to the several Board members, on the .

l Service List. This notice is intended both to reiterate this policy and to inform the parties that any pleading filed subsequent to this Notice not reflecting that copies have been served on the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Panel will not be cofsidered. While this filing policy should be clear by now, the Board's staff nevertheless is available to clarify any questions of the parties in this matter.
