Dear Mr. Brady:

Please find enclosed five ( 5 )- copies, nuinbers 1 through 5, of Revision 7 to the A1ChemIE Security Plan , for Facility 1-CPDF.

This plan supersedes- and ' replaces Revision 6 of the plan dated November, 1988.

Revision 7 of the plan incorporates a revised security fencing arrangement and comments from the NRC Staff and NRC Region II.

More specifically, comments contained in the Staff's letters dated November 23, 1988, and. December 7, 1988 have been incorporated. The verbal comments from Region II, received on November 29, 1988, have also been incorporated.

The revised security fencing establishes the office and adjacent receiving, shipping, inspection and maintenance areas as unclassified while maintaining two physical barriers to the exclusion area. This revision also reduces the number of AlChemIE employees requiring security clearances. Additionally, access to the exclusion area is now under the direct visual control of security personnel.
