NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT OF ADJUDICATORY EMPLOYEES i

In accord with the requirements of 10 C.F.R. I 2.4, notice is hereby given that Francis Paul Cardile, a Comission employee in the Office of ,

Nuclear Reactor Research (RES), and Jack E. Rosenthal, a Comission employee in the Office for Analysis and Evaluation of Operational Data (AE00), have

been appointed as Comission adjudicatory employees within the meaning of

9 2.4 to advise the Comission on issues in the above-captioned proceeding related to the Applicants' plan for funding decomissioning and comitments under that plan.

l Mr. Cardile is a Nuclear Engineer in the Materials Engineering Branch, Division of Engineering, (RES). Mr. Rosenthal is Chief of the Reactor

! Operations Analysis Branch, Division of Safety Programs, AE00. Neither Mr. Cardile nor Mr. Rosenthal has been engaged in performance of any l investigetive or litigating function in connection with the Seabrook facility or in any factually related proceeding.
