-This amendment application requests that Technical ESpecification 4.6.1.2.d and Table ~3.6-1 be revised as delineated-in Enclosure 1.- These revisions are categorized as'follows:

-.1. . A one-time request.of an extension for-the performance of Type C: tests on 59 containment isolation valves.

12 . - Deletion of isolation time requirements from Table 3.6-1 for the Main Steam' Isolation Valves and Main Feedwater Isolation Valves.

3. Editorial' changes to valve function descriptions and system designators'in Table 3.6-1.

Since the changes associated with category 1 above involve a partial exemption from 10CFR50, Appendix J, an exemption request is also enclosed. An expedited review and approval of the category 1 revisions;is requested by August 1, 1985 given the schedular requirements discussed in Enclosure 2. The. proposed changes would become effective for' Union Electric implementation upon NRC approval. Enclosed is'a check for the $150.00 application fee as required by 10CFR170.21.
