ULNRC-3326 CALIAWAY PLANT DOCKET NUMBER 50-483 REVISION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 4.6.1.2.a - CONTAINMENT SYSTEMS Union Electric Company herewith transmits an application for amendment to Facility Operating License Number NPF-30 for Callaway Plant. This application proposes to change Technical Specifications and their associated Bases to directly reference Regulatory Guide 1.163 as required by 10 CFR 50, Appendix J, Option B for the Type A containment integrated leak rate tests and the Type B and C local leak rate tests.

Implementation of the Containment Integrated Leakage Rate Program would allow the integrated leak rate test presently scheduled for Refuel 8 to be rescheduled,.since the criteria established by Appendix J,

Nuclear Safety Review Board have reviewed and approved the amendment request. Attachments 1 through 5 provide ,

the Technical Specification changes, Safety Evaluation, Significant Hazards Evaluation, and Environmental Consideration, respectively. We have concluded that this amendment application.does not involve an unreviewed safety question as defined in 10CFR50.59, nor a significant hazard consideration as determined per 10CFR50.92.
