ULNRC-3227 CALLAWAY PLANT DOCKET NUMBER 50-483 REVISION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 3/4.6 CONTAINMENT ISOLATION VALVES Union Electric Company herewith transmits an application for amendment to Facility Operating License Number NPF-30 for the Callaway Plant.
This amendment involves a revision to Technical Specification 3/4.6 to remove the list of containment isolation valves, revise the allowed outage time for component cooling water motor operated containment isolation valves, and allow the use of containment penetration check valves as isolation devices.
The Callaway Plant On-Site Review Committee l
and the Nuclear Safety Review Board have reviewed and approved the amendment and exemption requests.
l Attachments 1 through 5 provide the Technical Specification changes, Safety Evaluation, Significant Hazards Evaluation, and Environmental Consideration, respectively.
We have concluded that this amendment application does not involve an unreviewed safety question as defined in 10CFR50.59, nor a significant t
hazard consideration as determined per 10CFR50.92.
