ULNRC-3357 CALIAWAY PLANT DOCKET NUMBER 50-483 REVISION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 3/4.4 - REACTOR COOLANT SYSTEM Union Electric Company herewith transmits an application for amendment to Facility Operating License i
Number NPF-30 for Callaway Plant.
This application proposes to change Technical Specification 3/4.4,
" Reactor Coolant System" and associated Bases to address the installation of laser welded tube sleeves in the Callaway Plant steam generators.
The Callaway Plant On-Site Review Committee and the Nuclear Safety Review Board have reviewed and approved the amendment request.
Attachments 1 through 5 provide the Technical Specification changes,: Safety Evaluation, Significant Hazards Evaluation, and Environmental Consideration, respectively.
We have concluded that this amendment request does not involve an unreviewed safety question as defined in 10CFR50.59, nor a significant hazard consideration as determined hi3 per 10CFR50.92.
Pursuant to 10CFR51.22 (b), no environmental impact statement or environmental
[I assessment need be prepared in connection with the l
h issuance of this amendment.

Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the information which is proprietary to Westinghouse be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10CFR2.790.
