J. G. Keppler 2 December 23, 1983 B. BA Purchase Orders are now accompanied by a statement that materials shall not be supplied which have been procurred from either Ray Miller, Inc., (IE Bulletin 83-07) or Tube-Line Corporation.

3. All Tube-Line supplied materials will be either qualified by demonstrating that such materials are suitable for intended service, or replaced with materials which have been manufactured in compliance with ASME Code Section III and applicable procurement specification requirements.

4. The plan for resolution of IE Bulletin 83-06 includes, but is not limited to the following:

A. Identify materials supplied by T-L.

B. Review site procurement and installation

, documentation to locate all T-L supplied materials.

C. Write Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) on materials supplied, addressing location and installation condition (i.e., in Warehouse, in process of installation, skid mounted, installed, etc.).

D. Disposition NCRs (replace or qualify to demonstrate suitability for intended service).

Illinois Power will provide your office with an update on resolution of IE Bulletin 83-06 by April 23, 1984.

If there are further questions on this matter, please notify Illinois Power Company. I hereby affirm that the information in this letter is correct to the best of my knowledge.
