FORTHCOMING PRE-LICENSING PUBLIC MEETING VIA CONFERENCE CALL WITH STP NUCLEAR OPERATING COMPANY (TAC NOS. MF0578 AND MF0579)

DATE & TIME: Tuesday, March 5,2013 9:30 a.m. - 11 :30 a.m. EST LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission 11555 Rockville Pike, Room 0-08B2 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) and U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to discuss the proposed amendment request for approval of the revised Fire Protection Program related to the alternate shutdown capability presently documented in the Fire Hazards Analysis for South Texas Project, Units 1 and 2. The purpose of the proposed amendment is to credit certain operator actions from the main control room.

CATEGORYoO: This is a Category 1 Meeting via conference call. The public is invited to participate in this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
