LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission 11555 Rockville Pike, Room 0-08B6 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: Follow-up discussion to the public meeting held on June 2, 2011 and conference call public meeting scheduled for November 1, 2011, between STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) and U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to discuss Generic Safety Issue (GSI) 191, "Assessment of Debris Accumulation on PWR [Pressurized-Water Reactor] Sump Performance." STPNOC will discuss a risk-informed GSI-191 resolution option approach regarding South Texas Project, Units 1 and 2.
