Washington, D.C. 20555 Re: Docket 50-322 (OL); SOC Proposed Findings'of Fact

Dear Judges:

This letter is to advise the Board and the parties that the Shoreham Opponents Coalition (SOC) hereby adopts the proposed findingc of fact and conclusions of law filed by the County of Suffolk on the nine safety issues designated by the Board for.

proposed findings at this stage of the proceeding. Of those nine issues, five were the result of contentions filed exclusively by Suffolk County; three resulted from joint or combined SOC /Suffolk County contentions; and one issue (Seismic Design) was exclusively a SOC issue (although SCC filed no testimony on that iss'e u and cross-examination was conducted by the County.)

In view of the fact that SOC's position on the nine safety issues is consistent with the position take,n by the County in the proceedings, SOC will adopt the proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law to be submitted by the County in lieu of a separate filing on those issues.

Sincerely,

. // _
