Dr. David D. Ebert, Associate Professor of Aechanical Engineer-ing at the Catholic University of America, Washington, DC, has ccmaleted a four-day specialized training program in AGN-201 Reactcr Operations at Memphis State Universi'ty's fluclear Reactor Facility.

The program was conducted from December 18, through December 21, 1978 by licensed Senior Cperators and was oriented toward actual perfor-

.mance of reactor startups and reactivity control manipulations. A training sunnary including the number of reactor startups and hours of actual reactor operation is pec,ided in enclosure (~1).

In my opinion, Dr. Ebert has iemonstrated, the ability to use approved operating procedures and safely manipulate the con rols of an A3N-201 Nuclear Reactor.
