SUMMARY

OF APRIL 29, 2019, CLOSED MEETING WITH WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY TO DISCUSS FUTURE SUBMITTAL OF WCAP-10965-P-A, ADDENDUM 3, "UPDATED NEXUS CROSS-SECTION METHODOLOGY" (EPID: L-2019-TOP-0009)

On April 29, 2019, a closed meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) representatives.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss proprietary information related to the future submittal of the WCAP-10965-P-A, Addendum 3, "Updated NEXUS Cross-Section Methodology,"

Westinghouse topical report (TR). Main topics of Westinghouse presentation were the summary of the current Westinghouse NEXUS methodology, challenges and opportunities for improvement, purpose and scope of the future submittal, intended applications, TRs outline, and Westinghouse customer needs. Prior to the meeting Westinghouse submitted executive summary via letter dated April 10, 2019 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML19101A409), and presentation slides via letter dated April 25, 2019 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19105A025).
