SUMMARY

OF APRIL 23, 2020, PRE-SUBMITTAL MEETING WITH WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY REGARDING QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19 On April 23, 2020, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a Category 2 public meeting with representatives from Westinghouse Electric Company (WEC). The purpose of the meeting was for WEC and the NRC staff to discuss changes to WEC Quality Management System (QMS) in response to the challenges associated with performing supplier audits due to COVID-19. The meeting was noticed on April 16, 2020, and is available at the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML20107H099.

During the meeting, the NRC staff and WEC representatives discussed the Summary of Proposed Changes, Review Schedule, and Future Submission of WEC QMS, Revision 8, as described in WEC Enclosure 1, Pre-submittal Meeting Materials for Quality Management System (QMS), Revision 8.0. During the recap and the opportunity for public comments at the end of the meeting, there were no questions or comments from members of the public.
