- Dear Mr. Morey:
On May 30 1998. the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an
g inspection at your Farley Nuclear Plant (FNP). The enclosed report presents
- the.results of that inspection,
During the 7-week period, your conduct of activities at FNP was generally
characterized by safety-conscious operations, sound engineering and
L
maintenance practices, and careful radiological work controls. However, three-
violations of NRC requirements were identified regarding: (A) Inadequate
corrective actions for conditions adverse to quality associated with the
! Control Room Ventilation System.(CRVS). (B) Failure to remove eight
- , individuals from the protected area access list and (C) Inadequate safety-
assessment of the event re)orted by~ Licensee Event Report 97-10.. We are j
