Dear Mr. Keppler:

This interim report is an update in response to the subject IE Bulletin addressing the use of nonconforming materials supplied by Tube-Line Corporation. The initial interim report on this IE Bulletin was sent to you in a letter dated December 23, 1983 to James G. Keppler from D. P.

Hall.

Materials supplied to Clinton Power Station by Tube-Line Corporation have been identified. These materials are listed in Attachment #1.

-h Safety related construction travelers are being reviewed to verify the actual installation of Tube-Line supplied. materials. As of this date, 25% of the materials supplied has been located. Review of construction travelers will be an ongoing effort because of continued construction activities.

Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) are being issued and dispositioned as materials are located. Nonconforming materials (not installed and/or removed) are being returned to the vendor.

Illinois Power will provide your office with an update on resolution of IE Bulletin No. 83-06 by July 23, 1984.
