I am very concerned about the adequacy of the nuclear waste containers currently being employed for the closed San Onofre reactor facility. The 5/8 inch thick steel would appear to offer long term problems for what is now, and will likely remain, a heavily populated area. If, and when, such containment reveals its inadequacy there will be little options available to prevent major environmental contamination.
