The Navy has a storage site for nuclear waste. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop this nonsense. End the SONGS lease and have the Navy take over the power plant. Have the Navy move the nuclear waste to their storage site, and charge SDG&E for the trouble.
Otherwise, you're playing roulette with a potential environmental, economic and security risk that will affect the lives of eight million people within 50 miles of SONGS, the nation and the world. C'mon guys, quit with the bureaucratic bullshit.
