==Dear Mr. Jennings:==

By letter dated October 27, 2014, (Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML14317A052), as supplemented by letter dated July 2, 2015 (ADAMS Accession No. ML15183A248) Susquehanna Nuclear, LLC (Susquehanna), submitted a license amendment request for review and approval for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (SSES) Units 1 and 2. The proposed amendment would modify the SSES Technical Specifications (TS) by relocating specific surveillance frequencies to a licensee-controlled program with the implementation of Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 04-10, "Risk-Informed Technical Specifications Initiative 5b, Risk-Informed Method for Control of Surveillance Frequencies". The NRC staff has reviewed the information submitted by the licensee, and based on this review, determined additional information is required to complete the assessment of the license amendment request. Please find attached a DRAFT copy of the NRC staff's additional information request. These DRAFT RAIs are being sent to you to ensure that the questions are understandable, the regulatory basis for the questions are clear, and to determine if the information was previously docketed. Please notify me by Friday, August 21, 2015, if you desire to hold a teleconference to discuss the questions. The NRC staff will request a response to the RAIs within 30 days of the formal NRC RAI transmittal letter.

SUSQUEHANNA STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 - DRAFT REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RE: LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST TO ADOPT TSTF-425 (TAC NOS. MF5151 AND MF5152)

Dear Mr.
