The NRC requested the meeting with Seabrook management to discuss the NRCs assessment of the safety performance of the Seabrook nuclear power plant for calendar year 2005.
As part of this annual assessment meeting, Seabrook presented an overview of their performance and initiatives in selected areas.The public observed this meeting and was offered the opportunity to communicate with the NRC regarding Seabrook's performance and the role of the agency in ensuring safe plantoperations. At the end of the meeting between the NRC and Seabrook, the NRC answeredquestions from the public which included the design of spent fuel storage facilities and securityissues that occurred during 2005. The meeting notice with attached meeting agenda can belocated in ADAMS Accession No. ML060660573.
