OF THE JUNE 22, 2011 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT PUBLIC MEETING On June 22, 2011, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted an Annual Assessment Public Meeting at the Brattleboro Union High School in Brattleboro, Vermont. The NRC conducted the meeting to discuss the NRCs assessment of the safety performance of Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station for the calendar year 2010.
A notice of the public meeting was issued on June 6, 2011, and was posted on the NRCs external (public) web page (ADAMS Accession No. ML111570270).
The NRC presented and discussed its assessment of the safety performance of Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station for the period of January 1 through December 31, 2010, as documented in our letter dated March 4, 2011 (ADAMS Accession No. ML110620518).
