OF THE APRIL 13, 2010, PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS THE RESULTS OF ENTERGY NUCLEAR PLANT SAFETY CULTURE WORKPLACE SURVEY
Dear Mr. Balduzzi:
On April 13, 2010, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Ileld a Public Meeting at the Region I Office, located at 475 Allendale Road, King of Prussia.. Pennsylvania. The purpose of the meeting was for Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., to discuss the results of the Entergy safety culture workplace survey conducted in 2009 as specified in the NRC issued Confirmatory Order dated November 10, 2009.
Entergy provided an overview of the results of the 2009 Entergy safety culture workplace survey (Entergy slides can be viewed in the NRC ADAMS system ML100990031). Additionally, Entergy provided an overview of specific action plan focus ares,s that were developed for implementation at James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant, Indian Point Energy Center, Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, and Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station in response to the survey results.
Prior to the conclusion of the meeting, the NRC addressed public attendee questions.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter, the attendance listing, and the Entergy presentation will be available electronically for
