I am very concerned about the adequacy of the nuclear waste containers cu rrently being employed for th e closed San Onofre reactor facility. The 5/8 inch thick steel would appear to offe r long term problems for what is now, and will likely remain, a heavily populated area. If, and when, such containment reveals its inadequacy there will be little options available to pr event major environmental contamination.
