On May 19, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission completed a Post-Approval Site Inspection for License Renewal at your Donald C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 2. The enclosed report documents the results of this inspection as discussed on May 19, 2017, with you, and other members of your staff. The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety and The inspectors reviewed selected procedures and records, performed walkdowns, and interviewed personnel. Based on the sample selected for review, there were no findings of significance identified during this inspection. We reviewed implementation of all 42 Commitment Items. The inspectors concluded that the actions associated with all 42 Commitment Items were properly identified, implemented, and completed. The inspectors determined that you have adequately followed your commitment change process and have tracking mechanisms in place to ensure all actions are completed before the period of extended operation. On these bases and in consultation with the Division of License Renewal in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, operation into the period of extended operation is acceptable.

On May 19, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission completed a Post-Approval Site Inspection for License Renewal at your Donald C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 2. The enclosed report documents the results of this inspection as discussed on May 19, 2017, with you, and other members of your staff.
