On March 3 1 2021 and per Reference 1 (included in the list of references on page 3 of this letter),

Ameren Missouri submitted a license amendment request (LAR), in combination with a request for regulatory exemptions, to the NRC in order to adopt a risk-informed approach to resolve GSI-19 1 and respond to GL 2004-02. Supplements to the Reference 1 LAR were submitted per References 2, 3, and 4.

In the letter identified as Reference 5, the NRC provided its plan for conducting an audit in regard to Ameren Missouris LAR (and exemption request), which included topics, discussion questions, and information requests (i.e., audit items) for the audit. The NRC then conducted the virtual audit from August 1 0 to August 12, 2021 with a concluding session on August 1 7, 2021 Following the audit, and per the letter identified as Reference 6, the NRC provided an audit summary to Ameren Missouri. In an appendix to the provided audit summary, a summary discussion of each audit item was provided, which included what additional information is needed for the audit item and whether a follow-up written response for the item/discussion point is needed. Responses, as required, to address the audit items/discussion points were provided in Enclosures 5 and 6 to the letter identified as Reference 7, except for audit item/discussion point 23 (due to additional time needed to complete the response).

The purpose ofthis letter is to provide the required response to audit item/discussion point 23, which is hereby provided in the attachment to this letter.
