Dear Eric Carr:

In a telephone conversation on September 26, 2024, Thomas Setzer, Senior Operations Engineer, and Terry Jantzi, Supervisor, Nuclear Training, made arrangements for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to inspect the licensed operator requalification program at Millstone Power Station, Unit 2. The inspection is planned for the week of November 18, 2024, which coincides with your regularly scheduled requalification examination cycle. In order for the NRC to adequately prepare for this inspection, please furnish: (1) an index or summary of condition reports written in the past two years in which licensed operator errors were determined to be the root or contributing cause; ( 2) an index or summary of condition reports written in the past two years on simulator performance problems; (3) an index or summary of simulator performance test results in the past two years; and (4) the examination schedule, sample plan, written examinations, and operating test scheduled for the week of the inspection to the NRC by the week of November 4, 2024. Terry Jantzi has been advised of this request and provided with the name and address of the NRC lead inspector assigned to this inspection.
