By letter dated March 20, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System

[ADAMS] Accession No. ML24103A030), American Centrifuge Operating, LLC (ACO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Centrus Energy Corp., requested review and approval of proposed changes to the Standard Practice Procedures Plans for the protection of classified matter for ACOs American Centrifuge Plant located in Piketon, Ohio, and its facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) accepted the application for detailed review on May 15, 2024 (ML24138A215).

The NRC staff has completed its review of the March 20, 2024, request. The details associated with the review are documented in the enclosed non-public safeguards evaluation report. As part of this licensing action, License Conditions 10.s and 10.w have been modified to incorporate, in the enclosed license, the application submitted on March 20, 2024, and its supplements submitted on July 25, 2024, and August 8, 2024.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 2, Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The PDR is open by appointment.
