LaCrosseSolutions LC-2022-0021 Page 3 of3 The purpose of this letter is to request that the effectiveness of the order approving the transfer of license and conforming amendment be extended three months to March 24, 2023. The extension would allow sufficient time for the NRC Staff to complete their review of the final status survey reports. There is good cause to extend the existing approval. Responses to requests for additional information regarding Final Status Survey Reports (FSSRs) and their associated Release Records are currently under final review by NRC staff. Based on the status of the NRC review, it is anticipated that additional time will be needed to finalize the Safety Evaluation Report and approve the revised FSSRs. In addition, it provides the NRC staff with additional time to make a final determination regarding the release of land for unrestricted use. In accordance with 10 CFR S0.91(b)(l), a copy of this submittal has been sent to the State of Wisconsin. There are no regulatory commitments made in this submittal. If you should have any questions regarding this submittal, please contact Gerry van Noordennen at (860) 462-9707.
