Additionally, they shall be cognizant of the QA Program Description contained herein and will have the HQA department available to them.

The members and alternates of the NRB shall have an academic degree in engineering or physical science field, a minimum of 5 years technical experience, of which 3 years of professional level experience shall be in one or more of the areas listed in paragraph 17.2.1.2.5.2.

17.2.1.2.5.7 The NRB, and those performing reviews or assessments under the cognizance of the NRB, shall I

42:rt0P or more often as determined by the Chairman. A quorum of the NRB shall consist of the Chairman or Vice Chairman, and at least four, but not less than half, of the voting members. An alternate who represents an absent member may vote for that member. No more than a minority of the quorum shall have line responsibility for operation of the plant.

17.2.1.2.5.9 The NRB, or its appointees, shall review the following,

a. The safety evaluations for 1) changes to procedures, equipment, or systems and 2) tests or experiments completed under the provision of 10CFR50.59, to verify that such actions did not constitute an unreviewed safety question
b. Proposed changes to procedures, equipment, or systems that involve an unreviewed safety question as defined by 10CFR50.59
c. Proposed tests or experiments which involve an unreviewed safety question as defined by 10CFR50.59
d. Proposed changes in Technical Specifications or licenses D.11-14 Rev. 14 05/97
