As you may know, I have requested hearings in the Nuclear Regulation Subcommittee to investigate allegations that Mr. Lyn Hofziger, retained by the Long Island Lighting 4 Company, attempted to influence the licensing proceeding for 1 the shoreham nuclear plant.

In that regard, I request that the Commissioners, members of their immediate staff, other NRC officials and ,

employees who advise the Commissioners in thetsercise of -

their quasi-judicial functions, members of Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards and Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal i Boards and members of their staffs provide me and the Subcommittee with the following information immediately: ,
