REQUEST FOR DOCUMENTS /INFORMATION RE: EX PARTE RUtc In response to your memorandum of May 12, 1987 I have surveyed all available current membere of the Chairman's staff, as well as Joe Gray and David Humenansky, to determine if any ex parte contacts in violation of the NRC's ex parte rule or the APA have occurred in the Shoreham OL proceeding. No member of the Chairman's staff nor has the Chairman had any improper ex parte contacts concerning the Shoreham OL proceeding.
Dennis Rathbun is on annual leave and I will discuss your memorandum with him as soon as he returns.
In addition, I have reviewed the office's Shoreham file and emergency planning file and found no documents indicating any improper ex parte contacts relating to Shoreham.
