l WHEREAS, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is considsring Lilco's request for a license-to operate the Shoreham Nuclear Power Plant at low power levels; and t

j WHEREAS, the County L'gislature by Resolutier, dated November 27, 1984, stated the f.

6 County's opposition to the issuance of such low power license; and

(HEREAS, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission denied the request of Suffolk Ccunty and o

tow York State to present oral argenents to the Commission as to why Shoreham should at be issued a low power license; and I
